Marian Varhaník is a multi-genre musician, singer, composer, and organizer of music events focused on showcasing interpretive art in the realms of classical music and jazz (featuring acoustic pianos). He first appeared on the music scene in the late 1980s. While studying at university, he played keyboards for the band Metalinda, with whom he reached the finals of the Bratislavská Lýra festival in 1988. Even then, he collaborated on arranging many of the band's hits and participated in their studio recordings.

From 2001 to 2010, he focused on composing songs, selecting 11 of them to create the album Mayo – Nevzdávaj. In the spring of 2008, he completed a concert tour across Slovakia with Slovak rock legend Janko Lehotský. In 2010, he was a finalist in the national round of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with his own song Tón. Since 2013, he has dedicated his professional and business activities to the sale and promotion of acoustic grand and upright pianos, with a special focus on premium concert instruments. He is a partner of the Intercomp festival, co-founder of the International Festival Play Piano 4 Piano, and creator of the My Piano concert series. He has also been a long-standing exclusive partner of European festivals such as Bratislavské Jazzové dni, One Day Jazz, and Esprit. He is the co-founder and manager of the Piazzolla-inspired ensemble Slovak Nuevo Quinteto.
