Liu Aile, born in a musical family, graduated from the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music and continued to study jazz piano from jazz guitarist Zhao Wei and jazz pianist Zheng Yuxing in Europe after returning to China. Afterwards, he studied at the Akademia Muzyczna w Krakowie in Poland from the famous European jazz pianist Piotr Wylezol and the Polish national treasure Joachim Mencel, and received his master’s degree.
He is now the teacher of pop jazz piano in Chongqing Vocational College of Culture and Arts. In 2009, he formed the band Lucky Blue and served as the leader, and was the core member and creative force of the band, leading the band to communicate and cooperate with many outstanding musicians at home and abroad, such as saxophonist and pianist Rick Vanmatre, James Murray, Simon Lysayk, Alex Sipiagin, etc.; in 2014, he was invited to Dusseldorf International Jazz Festival in Germany, and in 2017, he was invited again to Sydney Jazz Festival, Dubai Chinese Music Festival and other internationally renowned music festivals to show the style of Chinese jazz musicians. In 2018, he participated in the recording of Jiangsu Satellite TV’s “China Band” program, and is recognized as a comprehensive musician who combines original writing, arrangement and orchestration, live performance and many other abilities. In 2020, he served as the music director of Happy Valley Original Music Project, collaborating with artists such as Fox Xia, Ronghao Li, Frankie, Li Qi, Zhang Yanming, Qiao Weiyi, Chen Yu, Kiki, ONO rap label, Gosh rap label. In 2020, he was in charge of composing and arranging music for the movie “BILLION COWARD”.
