PETROF Talents

PETROF has been dedicated to the production of acoustic grand and upright pianos for over 160 years. Their romantic sound resonates in more than 65 countries around the world. Everywhere, we meet young and talented artists who enrich culture with their artistry and share with us a passion for music. We are pleased that in today's digital world, they can also appreciate the beauty and charm of acoustic instruments. To support their enthusiasm and help them launch a successful career, we decided to start the PETROF Talents initiative in 2024. This new project combines our long-standing experience with the energy of the emerging generation and provides an opportunity to present these promising artists to a broad audience.

PETROF Acoustic sessions

The PETROF Acoustic Sessions project involves unconventional, acoustic renditions of well-known songs by popular artists. Each artist had the opportunity to perform their songs accompanied by piano in the industrial setting of the PETROF Gallery in Hradec Králové. Bands like Chinaski and Poetika, actor and musician Štěpán Kozub, Michal Hrůza, trumpeter Laco Déczi, and many others recorded with us. Each Acoustic Session consists of live performances and an interview with the artist.

PETROF Colours

How else to make the beautiful, colorful pianos stand out than by placing them in a pure white space? This is the PETROF COLOURS project. The videos from the PETROF Colours series offer you an extraordinary experience that comes from the combination of visual minimalism, the talent of pianists from different countries, and the beloved romantic sound of PETROF pianos. You will hear not only covers of famous songs but also original compositions. Pianists featured in the PETROF Colours project so far include Yuval Salomon (Israel), Thomas Krüger (Germany), Karim Kamar (UK), Slovak pianist Norbert Daniš, Gamazda (Russia), and Jan Veselý (Czech Republic).
