it is a great honour for us to welcome new members to our free association of artists, the PETROF Art Family - Mada & Hugh Piano Duo.
The Mada & Hugh Piano Duo, consisting of Romanian pianist Mădălina-Claudia Dănilă and Korean-American pianist Hugh Sung, is renowned for its innovative 4-hand piano performances. They have won top prizes at the 2024 London International Competition and the 2023 Charleston International Competition. Together, they bring classical mastery and modern innovation to their performances, captivating audiences worldwide with their exceptional artistry and synergy.
Mădălina-Claudia Dănilă, an acclaimed pianist, has triumphed in numerous competitions and debuted at the prestigious Ruhr Klavierfestival in Germany. She is pursuing her DMA at Temple University and teaches at Cunningham Music School.
Hugh Sung, a distinguished collaborative pianist, has performed with notable artists like Aaron Rosand and Hilary Hahn. He co-founded AirTurn, revolutionizing digital sheet music, and teaches globally through ArtistWorks. He is also Vice President of Cunningham Piano Company.
