We are proud to have been the General Partner of the 31st Amadeus Piano Competition held in Brno.
This year’s absolute winner is Maciej Ścierski, a 13-year-old pianist from Zespół Szkół Muzycznych im. Feliksa Rybickiego w Tychach, Poland, under the guidance of teacher Joanna Nowakowska.
Congratulations to all participants for their exceptional performances. Supporting young talent is at the heart of PETROF’s mission to inspire the next generation of pianists.
The Amadeus competition distinguishes itself from other piano competitions by its focus on Classical music, with an emphasis on the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The competition commemorates an important historical event when the eleven-year-old Mozart, along with his father and sister, visited Brno and successfully performed at the Reduta.
Among the successful participants of the Amadeus Brno competition are several members of the PETROF Art Family, such as Matyáš Novák, Jan Schulmeister, Klára Gibišová, and Nora Lubbadová.
